Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Prima, I found a blend of convenience and comfort that makes this hotel an intriguing option for those seeking value. Located a short 15-minute walk from Jonker Street, the hotel provides easy access to local attractions, and there are several restaurants nearby offering delightful local cuisine. My room had a nice size with essential amenities like a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, which was helpful for enjoying tea or coffee. The air conditioning worked efficiently, ensuring a comfortable environment after a day of exploration. While the complimentary Wi-Fi was reliable in public areas, it did occasionally falter in the room, so plan accordingly if you need a consistent connection. There are some drawbacks. Limited parking and a somewhat dated feel to the hotel lessen the luxury experience. The staff were generally accommodating, though a couple of interactions could have been better. If you’re weighing luxury against budget, the Prima offers decent value amidst its shortcomings.
